Alright so today I'm reporting from wonderful Exeter California! This area is so amazing, I love it here so much its not funny. My new companion is Elder Bryant, he is from Arizona and one of the best companions I have had on my mission. We are working hard a lot and are seeing many miracles. We are going to have a baptism on the 9th of April for a man named Cameron Chipchase. He is really prepared, he came up to Elder Bryant and another missionary Elder Vega the Tuesday before I got here and they found out he spent 2 and a half months reading the book of Mormon and check out the church doctrine and the church site, mormon.org. He talked with them when they were emailing in the library, they took him on a church tour and he said he wanted to be baptized. It was really powerful to teach him for the first time because be just came out and set his own baptismal date.
So to go back and talk a little more about Elder Bryant, he is fun and serious and just a power house teacher and loves to work so we get along great with each other. When we are not managing the affairs of the zone or doing meetings we are working hard talking to everyone and committing everyone to baptism. It has just been such a blessing. It was really weird to leave Tulare but I'm sure all is well there Elder Jolley is a good missionary and I know that everything is going great there.
Oh yea let me tell you about another great experience, so on Sunday we had an appointment with the Rasner family to teach one a friend of the family. Well the Nina and her friend had a "falling out" so we could teach but what happened was Nina brought another friend Ashley to church and she came up and said she wanted to take the missionary lessons. So we went over to teach this other friend and come to find out she used to come to church when she was young and that her dad is less active. So as we were teaching her we felt the spirit really strongly and she felt all that we said was true so we committed her to baptism and she accepted for April 30th.
There are alot of great things happening in are area. I can't wait for what happens this week. Something that my companion and I are doing is that we want to find a family and we know that we will find one. We have been praying for a family of 5 so that we can help them come unto the gospel and see the blessings that come. We are really praying hard for this and I want to invite you at home to pray specifically that we can find a family of 5 this week in our area.
I have to get going but I thank you so much for everything. I love you guys alot.
Love Elder Jason A. Glowa
